Erika Kleinbergs

Erika Kleinbergs is an AmeriCorps member serving with the Washington Service Corps. Located on Coast Salish and Puyallup land, she is currently working with Tacoma Public Schools’ Nutrition Services department to provide school-based nutrition resources to students affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Anthropology and minored in Applied Psychology at the University of California, Santa Barbara, which is located on Chumash land. Erika is passionate about finding ways to dismantle structural inequities, advocating for universal liberation, and looking for the good in people. After her service term, she hopes to continue her career in the education sector and become a school counselor, focusing on the mental well-being and success of students from low-income and historically marginalized communities.
